About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I am currently working as an infant teacher at a preschool in Charlotte. Working with children has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I feel incredibly grateful to be part of such an important chapter in their growth and development. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with plans to specialize in childhood psychology. I have a genuine passion for understanding how children learn, grow, and thrive, and I love being able to apply what I'm learning in real life. One of my favorite parts of working in childcare is building meaningful relationships with children and their families. It is such a privilege to watch your kids reach their first milestones; from learning new skills to gaining confidence and independence, and to know I get to play a small part in those special moments. Seeing their personalities blossom and celebrating their accomplishments alongside their families is what makes this work so fulfilling.
