About Makayla

Hi! I'm Makayla, and I've been working with children for about 6 years through nannying, babysitting, ABA, and school-based support. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a strong understanding of child development, routines, and positive behavior support. I've worked with infants through school-aged children, including toddlers, twins/multiples, and children with special needs. I love being hands-on and engaged - outdoor play, crafts, pretend play, library trips, sensory activities, and age-appropriate learning are all things I enjoy incorporating into the day. I'm also comfortable with light household support such as tidying play areas, kids' laundry, dishes, meal/snack prep, and helping keep the day running smoothly. Families would describe me as warm, patient, dependable, and very attentive. I'm currently looking for a part-time or long-term nanny position in the Charlotte area and would love to connect with a family who values engaged, reliable care.
