About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I love working with kids! I studied child advocacy and policy at MSU as well as social work (I've not yet finished my degree but plan to part-time/ online in the Fall of 2025 or spring of 26). I am going to be transferring to a university that has a BSW program so that my masters will only take a year. I am an RBT, I've worked as a mother's helper, a regular after school nanny, and camp counselor. I have experience working with infants, kids with special needs, and kids with limited mobility, so I'm up for anything! I am a Type 1 diabetic of 20 years, so if you're looking for a sitter for a child with T1D, I'm your gal! Excellent driver Pet friendly (I'm happy to care for family pets when you travel and have my own little dog.) I'm moving to Minnesota from NJ over the next weekend and am looking for full time employment. I also would be open to 2 part time positions, split shift jobs, nanny shares, and house manager/ family assistant roles. Open to live-in.
