About Shannon

Hi! I'm a high school teacher on summer break looking for part time jobs. I've previously nannied for kids under 5, as well as middle schoolers. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, easygoing, and patient. I like working with kids because they teach me to be more open minded and empathic about the world. I'm looking for a job that is flexible in terms of schedule. I started working with kids more hands on when I was in college though I helped raise my younger sisters and babysat since I was young. In my spare time, I like to read, do yoga, do the Wordle, play tennis, and spend time with friends and family. One thing you should know about me is I am very upfront and will always communicate with you! My skills include helping kids work on reading and writing, I am a master a potty training, and love helping kids spend more time outdoors.
