About Emily

I'm an engaging, attentive, and patient childcare provider with a lifelong passion for supporting children's growth and curiosity. I've been drawn to working with kids from a young age, starting with babysitting as a high schooler, participating in youth programs throughout college, and most recently serving as a lead preschool teacher. I started at 16, when I became CPR certified and completed a babysitter certification course, and I've been caring for children ever since. I take a child-led approach, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and even getting messy, while fostering a love of learning and helping children develop self-regulation and problem-solving skills. I create safe, positive environments and adapt to each child's unique needs and personality. Outside of work, I enjoy baking and trying new recipes, training my cats, reading, and playing board games. Recently, I've also started running with my sister and her dog.
