Hi! My name is Elsa, and I'm a student studying biology and business. I have 5+ years of experience supporting elementary, middle, and some high school students in math, English, science, and more. Helping a student reach their full potential is what motivates me to tutor. I focus on building confidence to understand topics rather than simply memorizing. For starters, I like to understand a child's learning style by observing how they engage with the material, then using visual aids, hands-on activities, or guided discussions. With challenging concepts, I like to break them into smaller, manageable steps and connect the material to real-world topics. I also believe open communication with families is important to ensure we're working towards your child's goals! There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing that moment when a student finally masters a challenging topic.
