With 12 years of experience, I'm a certified teacher dedicated to helping elementary students thrive in Math, English, and Special Education. My graduate-level education and experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504) allow me to tailor my approach to each student's unique learning style, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and engaging discussions. I tutor at the student's home or a library. I foster a love for learning by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and setting students up for success. Regular communication with parents is essential, and I provide clear, jargon-free updates on their child's progress. The most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing a student connect learning material to their daily lives. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
