Hello! My name is Elsa, I am a graduate of Bishops University with a degree in psychology focused on child development and a trained birth doula. I have recently moved back to my home town of Saranac Lake and am currently working at a local Waldorf inspired school while also furthering my education in the fields of lactaion and nutrition. For the past couple years I've lived in Tucson, AZ, working as a lead infant Teacher for a daycare and then as a Nanny for and amazing family with an infant and toddler. I love caring for children, I enjoy spending time with them and have a bit of a talent for it. Aside from my years teaching and nannying, I have experience as a camp counselor (ages 3-14, for 5 years ) and as an Aupair for 3 months in Genoa, Italy with children ages 2, 8, and 10.

Elsa took wonderful care of our 5-month old son so that we could have a couple nights out during our visit to Lake Placid. She was diligent in tracking how much he ate and when, and knew best practices for feeding and burping that we’ve been able to use since! It’s impressive that she’s chosen to study in the care of children as well. Would highly recommend having her care for your child!
