I've mostly cared for children in my 20 years experience but have one year of experience caring for seniors in a non-medical environment. As someone who now has an aging parent with late stage dementia , I understand the needs and how to work around the memory loss smoothly. I've done an extensive amount of research online, to better understand my mother who lives out of state, with dementia. Seniors struggling with memory loss can be undergoing immense frustration, and I am there to provide understanding and support. I believe they must be met where they are at and not constantly corrected nor invalidated. Would love to help your family member with their day-to-day needs.
