About Elena

Hi there! My name is Elena, and I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Early Childhood Development and Clinical Psychology. I have extensive experience in early childhood education, childcare, and childhood mental health. I work as a preschool teacher leading play-centered learning for 3-4-year-olds, and I'm skilled at supporting children's emotional, social, and educational needs through individualized approaches. I also work as a counselor for children ages 3-10 with selective mutism at Square One Psychology, where I am trained in PCIT-SM modalities and create personalized activities and support plans for children and families. Additionally, I've worked as a reading tutor and nanny for families in both New York and California. I'm currently completing a Special Education Certification and bring creativity from my BFA at School of Design into child-led learning experiences. I'm organized, communicative, reliable, and truly love working with children.
