About Elena

Hi, I'm Elena! I've been working with children for over 10 years through babysitting, preschool after-school programs, summer camps, and now through my work advocating for children and families while in law school. I'm patient, dependable, and love creating a fun & encouraging environment where kids can learn and be themselves. Whether we're reading, doing crafts, or working through homework, I strive to make every child feel supported and every parent feel at ease. I offer tutoring support in English writing and persuasive writing, Spanish language (from beginner to advanced), as well as history, social studies, and government/civics. I enjoy helping students build confidence, strengthen their writing skills, and better understand the world. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, with intermediate Portuguese, and I'd love the opportunity to help your family!
