About Annika

Hi! My name is Annika, and I'm a final-year student at Boston University studying philosophy with a strong background in logic, mathematics, and writing. For the past two years, I have worked as a college-level TA and tutor in mathematical logic, philosophy, and writing. I also worked as a tutor throughout high school, helping students with English, history, and SAT prep. I love teaching and especially enjoy finding ways to make difficult or intimidating material feel approachable. I'm patient, organized, and believe that good tutoring should help students become more confident and independent, rather than simply get through an assignment. I also have four years of experience as a camp counselor and many years of childcare experience, so I'm comfortable working with students of a wide range of ages and learning styles!
