About Rakefet

Hello! I'm Rakefet, a mathematics major at Northeastern University with plans to continue on to my master's and PhD to become a professor. For the past four years, I've worked as a private tutor with students ranging from kindergarten through college, offering support in mathematics, English, essay writing, and SAT preparation. My approach is patient, structured, and engaging, I find that a bit of humor and creativity helps students feel comfortable and confident while learning. I also have seven years of experience supporting children with special needs and always tailor my sessions to meet each student's unique learning style. Above all, I believe that every student has the ability to succeed when given the right tools, encouragement, and individualized attention.
