About Edie Beth

With a master's degree in Gerontology and years of experience in senior living and caring for my own elderly mother who has now passed away, I am a sweet, compassionate and patient sitter, comfortable with dementia patients (as long as they are not violent or aggressively inappropriate). With the help of one other pt caregiver, I took care of my 95-year-old mother for two full years. I helped her with everything except showering and she only needed minor help with her Depends. I also used to be employed by a family to sit with, talk to, read to and ensure a lovely senior lady received good care in a nursing home. I did that for about six months before she died.
