About Sarah

My nana was diagnosed with dementia when I was 13. I saw the strain settle among my dad and his siblings. She couldn't live on her own and they weren't able to provide the care she required. I witnessed their relief once they found reliable care. I felt relief too not having to worry about her or them watching their parent struggle. I understand the worry around a loved one needing care we can't provide ourselves. I want to respect those involved to ensure their parent and loved one is cared for in the manner they see fit. I hope to bring joy and peace to those in my care.
