About Diya

Hi there! My name is Diya, and I'm a Junior Psychology major at Clark Atlanta University, studying to become a school psychologist. I'm incredibly passionate about children's growth and development and am committed to making a positive and lasting impact in their lives. With three years of experience as a substitute teacher for Fulton County Schools, I've developed both the knowledge and hands on skills to create supportive and enriching environments for kids of all ages. My experiences have taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of meeting each child where they are emotionally, socially, and developmentally. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, heard, and encouraged to be themselves, and I aim to foster that type of atmosphere in every home I work in. In addition to child care I'm happy to help assist with light housekeeping, cooking, and homework help.
