Hi! I have 5 years of nursing experience; including skilled nursing facilities, rehab care, and in hospital acute care settings. More specifically in the acute care setting, I worked on a dementia unit. In my personal life, my grandmother has advanced dementia and I know what my mom goes through being a 24/7 caregiver to her. It takes a village to love and care on the elderly and it's important for full-time caregivers to have breaks/help. I love to take care of the senior population, treating patients like they are my family and have a heart for helping in any way I can. Nursing is a very rewarding field and I'd love to bring it to the community outside of my current hospital job in my free time. If I'm not at work, I'm hanging out with friends, doing an outdoor activity, hunting down a new food spot or spending time with my dog Maya. I am overall down to earth, flexible and reliable.
