About Devon

Hello my name is Devon! I have experience working in a formal daycare for ages 0-5 however the majority of my childcare experience comes from being a big sister. My sister is 11 years my junior, so I learned how to change, feed & aid in her developmental growth at the age of 12. It has brought me infinite joy to have been able to help her become the amazing young woman she is today & now my goal is to help other children in my community flourish. More recently I have been working for a family with 4 children, ages 3-9, since October & am looking for a position with better availability for my schedule. As the nanny of your child there will be a heavy focus on creativity & self expression. I believe that children communicate their emotions most effectively through art & that the emotional needs of your child are just as important as their developmental needs! I am a firm believer in patience & discussion over punishment, while staying firm on the rules & responsibilities of your child.
