About Alexa

Currently an early childhood education teacher at a nature center! I have 3 years experience in professional childcare & over 10 years experience babysitting locally. Children I've cared for have ranged in age from about 22mo up to 11yrs. CPR and First Aid certified & up to date. I am an enthusiastic, nurturing, fun-loving caregiver who believes in treating all children with kindness, respect, and empathy! As a caregiver, it's important to support a child's full range of needs, from physical to social-emotional. I use developmentally-appropriate best practices customized for the child's age and individual needs. I am also a nature-based educator at my "day job"! If your child is interested in learning about nature, environmentalism, biology, wildlife etc., I have countless pre-prepared lessons and activities to choose from---both indoor & outdoor.
