About Delaney

Hello! I'm Delaney, I'm 25, and I would love to be your next nanny! I'm originally from Oregon, have been living in Seattle as a full-time nanny for the past four years, and now back in school to be a play therapist! I've been working with children for nine years, ranging from infants to teenagers, and I develop a stronger passion for it each year, it's second nature. I love dance parties, outside activities, imaginative play, and the opportunity to teach children something new. I focus on fostering healthy emotional development, and providing a loving, safe space for children to express themselves. I practice not telling children how to feel, but guiding them to understand their emotions and selves, while enforcing discipline and explaining the reasoning behind it. In my own free time I enjoy watching European soccer, listening to new albums, reading and writing poetry, and baking extravagant desserts! I can provide multiple references upon request, and I look forward to meeting you!
