I'm currently looking for part-time evening positions. I prefer working with families long term and developing relationships in order to maintain consistency for the child/ren involved. My experience includes 4 years at preschools, 2 years in children's mental health/social services, and 3+ years privately nannying. I particularly love working with babies and toddlers and enjoy helping them reach milestones, though my experience ranges from 5mo-18years and I enjoy all of it. I believe play and building trust through relationship are the best avenues for social/emotional growth, and love the added benefit of helping me stay present that working with kids brings to my life. Danielle worked for us while my twins were under 1 years old. She was loving and flexible and supported all of our changing routines. She was competent and caring, but most importantly, she understood baby safety/safe sleeping. I would definitely hire her again if she ever heads back to Bend, OR. Caring for twins is not easy. But Danielle was fantastic at it. We miss having her here!
