Hi families! As long as I remember I've wanted to be around children, for their curiosity and open hearts. I consider myself lucky to have taught infants through third grades, as well as raising six incredible sons. I have a BA in child development and a teaching credential. I have nannied newborns - age 7 since 2016, after retiring from public school teaching. Guiding them through their milestones & providing activities that match their interests and needs is rewarding and fun for me. At this time I am looking to care for a child age newborn to age 2. Beginning in January I am available weekdays except for Tuesdays If I sound like a possible good fit for your needs, I would love to chat and go over more details. :) I also enjoy time spent with all kinds of pets!! We have known Debbie since she's started as our full time nanny in 2016 when my daughter was a little over a year old. She has grown with our family including caring for my second child after he was born, not to mention our fur babies/dogs as well! Now that the the kids are in school full time we don't have a need for a full time nanny but still call Debbie over to help out whenever we have a need and love her like family. She is a special person; kind, patient, honest, loving, responsible, hard working, gentle, and respectful. My kids adore her. Her two superpowers are her gigantic heart which has so much love to share and her ability to really listen to, understand, and form mutual respect with the children she cares for. If this weren't enough, her experience as a prevoius elementary school teacher shines thorough in her teaching ability, art projects, and love of books. Debbie is amazing and any family that is lucky enough to cross paths with her here should not pass up the opportunity to hire her!
