About Danielle

Hi! I have 20 years experience working for families in both San Francisco Bay Area and in Brooklyn. My most recent nanny part-time position involves caring for 2 kiddos- picking them up from school, going on fun adventures, assisting with homework/chores and preparing dinner. Currently, I work full time as a Veterinary Nurse, but I am not thrilled with this profession and would like to continue working with kids on a regular basis (and allow my time to rest, be home, garden, and do my own art). In the past, I have been a full time Special Needs Teacher at a Vocational Program in Manhattan as well as an Art Teacher for an Independent school in Brooklyn. I would describe myself as silly, patient, creative, respectful, empathetic. I can assist with homework, housework, whatever you need. I am a "backyard biologist" who loves birding, gardening, local plants/wildlife, bugs and frogs... hoping to lead by example and inspire kiddos to connecting to our environment. Open to 25-30hrs/week.
