About Dana

I've spent most of my life working with and caring for children. I began babysitting as a teen and continued through my 20s, and after earning my undergraduate degree in Psychology, I worked as a one-on-one support professional for children with autism. I later earned my MAEd in Counseling and spent four years as a middle school counselor, supporting students' emotional, social, and academic needs. I also worked for several years as a children's grief therapist with KinderMourn, helping children navigate loss. For the past several years I've been home with my own children, now 13 and 9. My approach is calm, consistent, warm, and grounded in years of experience supporting children through both everyday life and challenging moments. I believe in creating an environment where kids feel safe, seen, and cared for while also maintaining routine, boundaries, and reliability.
