About Courtney

I love working with children! I am a former preschool teacher, where I worked in an infant & toddler classroom and also in a 3-4-year-old classroom. I have also worked for 12 years as a full-time and part-time nanny. I have held many different private childcare positions, starting with infants as young as two months. I have worked with multiple children at a time. My favorite kind of job is one where I can start with an infant and grow along with a family. I strongly believe in working in harmony with individual parenting styles and philosophies. I am an artist (a poet and filmmaker), so I believe one of my strengths as a caregiver is my natural curiosity and enthusiasm for helping children engage with what inspires and excites them. I am energetic but also very responsible and safety oriented. I am also very interested in childhood development, and want to continue learning.
