About Aurora

Hello! My name is Aurora! I have a lot of experience with babies and kids! I have worked as a nanny for the past year and a half for an infant who was 4 months old when I started. Now that she is headed off to school I am looking for a new nanny position! I am starting a grad program in psychology this fall. In college, I worked as a teaching assistant at a preschool, where I assisted the lead teachers in a classroom of 3-to-5-year-old children in daily tasks such as leading snack-time and nap-time duties, aiding the children in emotional development, promoting conflict resolution skills, and leading educational activities. I have also worked at a school for children with autism, where I assisted them with language development, artistic pursuits, social skills, and daily living skills such as self-care skills and eating. My approach is grounded in compassion and patience, and I strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care.
