I'm someone you can count on. When I say I'll be there, I'm there, on time, every time. I know that when you bring a caregiver into your home, you're trusting them with someone you love, and I don't take that lightly. I'm steady and calm and I'm not uncomfortable around illness or dying. I can be a quiet, reliable presence for the person I'm caring for and for the family around them. I spent two years as a caregiver for two men. One was living with dementia, and I learned to meet him where he was each day, with patience and without rushing him. The other was at the end of his life. Before he died, he wanted to take one more great trip, and I traveled with him to Las Vegas so he could have it. Being with someone through that time taught me that end-of-life care isn't only about comfort and safety. It's also about dignity, and about helping someone live fully for as long as they can. I keep communication clear and simple, and I'll keep you updated however works best for you.
