Hands-on personal care has been part of my daily life for years. I've given it for my mother at the end of her life and for my two children at the start of theirs. These experiences both taught what people need most is someone who actually shows up, without flinching and without making it awkward. I've learned that showing up consistently matters more than anything , and I bring extensive patience, real compassion and a level head to this work. End of Life Care Experience When my mother became very sick unexpectedly, I nursed her through the ups and downs of her illness and was by her bedside until the very end. I made sure she knew that she was never alone and had people around her who loved her, and I helped her with a variety of personal and emotional needs like: - mobility and transfers - changing - dressing - bathing - cooking - housekeeping & quick errands - medication - care, dignity and attention I am available for daytime/evening shifts between Monday and Thursday.
