About Cora

Hello! I am a recent graduate from BU where I majored in African and African American studies and minored in both Legal studies and Education. I have extensive personal and professional experience working with kids of all abilities and ages. I have 5 younger siblings (three of them under 10yrs old, and two in their teens) as well as younger cousins (all neurodivergent) that I have been responsible for at different times. Professionally, I worked as an Education Technician for elementary students with behavioral challenges and as a tutor/counselor with the Upward Bound college preparation program. I have also coached and mentored at numerous basketball and volleyball camps. Additionally, I am a certified lifeguard. I believe Maine is one of the best places to grow up (especially in the summertime)! I love the outdoors, trying new foods, and creating meaningful experiences. Caregiving combines many of my passions and allows me to make a positive impact in my community.
