About Sarah

I am originally from Portland, Maine, have lived all over the country, and recently moved back after working as an engineering intern for a river restoration company and executive board member of an environmental non-profit in Colorado; ending with a 4-month backpacking trip through Europe. I started out by helping my friend babysit her two autistic younger brothers. I have worked in childcare professionally for 8 years - as a nanny for children ranging 3 months to 5-years-old, and as a daycare/preschool/after-school teacher, with children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. I enjoy anything outdoors, yoga, crafts, music (attemptimg to play and listening), good coffee, and travel. I am CPR/First Aid and water safety certified, and have reference letters I can send.
