I am originally from Portland, Maine, have lived all over the country, and recently moved back after working as an engineering intern for a river restoration company and executive board member of an environmental non-profit in Colorado; ending with a 4-month backpacking trip through Europe. I started out by helping my friend babysit her two autistic younger brothers. I have worked in childcare professionally for 8 years - as a nanny for children ranging 3 months to 5-years-old, and as a daycare/preschool/after-school teacher, with children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. I enjoy anything outdoors, yoga, crafts, music (attemptimg to play and listening), good coffee, and travel. I am CPR/First Aid and water safety certified, and have reference letters I can send.

Sarah worked for our family from the time our daughter was 3 months old until she was 1.5. We developed a very strong bond with Sarah and are still close with her today. She is a safe and trustworthy provider, who I’d recommend to any fellow mom. Sarah worked closely with our daughter each day on her language skills and communication skills. She brought her on outings and was always engaged. Our daughter still talks/asks about her regularly. Anyone would be lucky to work with her!
