About Colleen

Hi, I'm Colleen! I have 5+ years of experience as a full-time youth development professional. I work with children from infancy through elementary age in home, classroom, and program-based settings. I have built my career in infant classrooms, running city-wide summer camps, and as a behavior aide. I have an energetic, safety-centered approach to my work and focus on whole-child development. I use clear routines and relationships built on trust to create spaces where kids feel safe to play, have fun, and grow in independence. I'm nurturing, reliable, organized, and accepting. I'm very comfortable navigating busy schedules, big emotions, academic support, and IEP-aligned routines. I'm DCPS and FBI checked and certified in CPR, first aid, and epinephrine administration. I'm looking to begin support starting this May and would love to connect and learn more about your family's needs!
