About Claire

I've been working as a nanny for over 16 years, for 10 of those years I have also nannied children with various disabilities, and for 8 of those years I've also been working as a pediatric behavioral therapist! Caring for children, supporting and encouraging their development, isn't just a job to me, it's a vocation! I have a bachelors degree in developmental neuroscience and one in psychology and I plan to get my masters in Occupational Therapy. I've also been doing internships and volunteering in OT clinics for 7 years and they are really the developmental specialists so my experience is really diverse! I love to set up various age appropriate little activities and incorporate sensory play into them. I really love to do learning through play and imagination- learning should always be fun! I am happy to get messy (and of course clean it up), and I am very, very patient and I hold calm and consistent boundaries. I really look forward to hearing from you!
