About Claire

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my work. With two years of experience, I specialize in English, History, and essential study skills for elementary through high school students. I cultivate an engaging, supportive, and patient environment by actively listening to your child and observing how they interact with new material. To ensure success, I adapt my teaching methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. When concepts feel difficult, I bridge the gap by connecting lessons to real-world examples and personal interests. I believe clear communication is vital to building a collaborative relationship between student, parent, and tutor. As the daughter of a teacher and older sister of someone with learning disabilities, I find witnessing those "lightbulb" moments incredibly rewarding. I am eager to help your child achieve their academic goals and look forward to celebrating their next breakthrough together.
