Empowering students to develop confidence and attribute value to their work, at every stage, is at the heart of my practice. My tutoring philosophy takes a student-centered approach that prioritizes your students' needs through flexibility and adaptability, creating a supportive, engaging, and safe environment for learning. My credentials include a bachelor's in English and my current position as a second-year graduate student at a local university obtaining my master's degree in English. I specialize in reading comprehension, test preparation, study skills, and essay writing for middle school, high school, and college students. In every session, I work with student writers in a close capacity to build portable and foundational skills that will benefit them throughout their current studies and future endeavors. Overall, I strive to help foster a love of learning that lasts well beyond the classroom.
