About Megan

I have been a middle school science teacher for the past 13 years. I currently work at a school for students with language based learning disabilities, where I teach a hands-on science class to 6th and 7th grade students and am the Department Chair. Many of the students I work with are very creative and bright, although they can have many attention or executive functioning challenges. As a math or science tutor I can successfully break down information for your child to make them understand concepts one step at a time and help them realize the connections between what they are learning. I also use multi-sensory teaching in my lessons since students all learn differently. In addition, I can help your child with organizational/study skills.
