About Sarah

Hi there! My name is Sarah, I'm a high school English Language Arts teacher with 5 years of teaching experience. I'm passionate about the learning process and believe that every student has the potential to achieve anything they set their minds to. My teaching style is rooted in critical thinking skills and bringing real-world examples into each lesson. My focus areas are in English Language Arts, composition, and study skills. I have a dual Bachelor's degree in English literature and journalism and a Master's in education. I have experience teaching all high school levels and have worked with students who have a variety of skill levels in full inclusion classrooms. I love watching the "aha" moment a student has when they grasp a new concept, and I believe in the idea that learning is a journey.
