I am TEA certified to teach Math and Science at grade 4-8, but I am not restricted to these grades. I can teach lower math skills and high school level course, work up to Geometry. I can also teach Science skills up to college level Biology. I taught Science at a Middle School in Bryan, Texas and I know the skills needed for the STAAR tests as well as the EOC exams in high school for both math and science courses. I teach math different than most teachers, giving students hints and "short cuts" to help students who have a very difficult time understanding math. With experience in teaching Science, I have the ability to make it more fun and interesting giving children a way to remember it better.
