About Carol

I'm a licensed and certified teacher for over 10 years endorsed in English grades 6-12, Special Education K-12, Gifted Pk-12, and all core subjects (math, reading, science, and social studies) for middle grades 4-8. I've been a CLUE teacher for grades 6-10, and am also an adjunct instructor in the graduate school of education at Christian Brothers University. I am also Montessori trained for young children, and have taught Resource Room/Intervention support for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade for math and reading. Additionally, I serve on the Reading Specialist Advisory Board at Christian Brothers University. I've helped my high school students write essays for some of the most outstanding summer programs in the country and college. I've also tutored ACT prep for English, Reading, Algebra I and Geometry, and am the English department chair at one of the Top 20 public high schools in Tennessee.
