About Cathy

I am a retired special education teacher who remains passionate about helping children learn, grow, and believe in themselves. I am energetic, creative, caring, and respectful, and retirement hasn't changed my love of teaching-it has simply given me a new way to continue doing what I enjoy through tutoring. I approach every student with an open mind, knowing that everyone learns differently. I believe learning should be engaging, positive, and fun, and I enjoy finding creative ways to help each child understand something in a way that works for them. The best part of teaching is seeing those wonderful aha! moments-when a student suddenly realizes, ICAN do this. Building confidence, celebrating progress, and helping students discover their own abilities are what continue to inspire me as an educator.
