About Catherine

Thank you for considering me for the opportunity to support your child's learning journey! My name is Catherine and I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop curiosity, and realize that they're capable of growth in every subject. I have four years of tutoring experience and spent a year as a federal volunteer in an inner-city school, where I tutored and mentored elementary students. In my current job as an epidemiologist, I use skills in statistics, math, critical reading, problem-solving, and clear communication. These strengths allow me to not only focus on specific academic skills but also on holistic learning. I've returned to tutoring because I truly feel called to teach. I love giving students individualized attention and finding creative ways to make concepts click.
