Hello families! I am 47 years old. I have a BA in Secondary Education. I have worked with children in schools, in social work, as a nanny, and in the non profit world. I have worked as a nanny for several amazing families in my life thus far. I really enjoy becoming a part of a family and for caring for children in their homes where they feel safe and comfy. Most recently I was an educator for an outdoor forest school for 3-5-year-olds. I enjoy following the joy and wonderment of children. I would consider my approach to be very patient, kind and present and fun! I take the job of childcare very seriously and consider it a real honor. I am looking for a fun family! I have great references from my nanny families! I would prefer if the job was 30-40 hours a week M-F. I had my CPR certification for my last job and I am willing to re-certify if requested. Carrie came to us when my son was only 5 months old. I was starting a brand new job while deep in the throes of postpartum. Carrie not only ushered me through an extremely vulnerable time with grace, but she quickly became a part of our family. I couldn’t recommend her more. Carrie moved states so we no longer have the absolute pleasure of her being close by, but we still keep in regular touch. I adore her and quite frankly, I am jealous of anyone who gets to have her as a nanny or babysitter. She is simply magical!
