Hi! I'm Carrie, a passionate tutor with a strong academic background and a love for teaching. I earned my Bachelor of Interior Design from LSU with honors after starting as a chemistry major where I aced algebra, trigonometry, biology, and chemistry so I am well versed in these subjects. I am now pursuing my Master of Architecture at RISD where I study structures which involved physics and advanced algebra. I scored a 5 on the AP English exam and a 34 in English and a 35 in reading on the ACT so I know what it takes to be successful on standardized tests. I am an avid reader having read over 30 books already this year and love helping students build confidence in and love for reading and writing. I have an excellent system for research papers! I am also a classically trained oboe player with a deep appreciation for musical education and would love to teach oboe as well.
