About Carlyse

I am a patient, professional nanny, and babysitter with 9+ years of experience working with children between the ages of 6 weeks to 8 years. I am highly skilled in infant/toddler care with extensive knowledge and understanding of safety/health precautions. I have a strong love for children of all ages and pride myself in my ability to adapt and be flexible. I love spending time outside and my hobbies include hiking, reading, and cooking which I always love incorporating in my activities with children. I have experience with feeding techniques and working with "picky" eaters to incorporate new foods. I have also done sleep training and potty training with several children. I am comfortable with housekeeping, meal prep/planning, and pet care, and I am always flexible with schedules and concerns. I am currently a graduate student at Portland State University working towards a Master of Urban Studies and applying to PhD programs in the fall with a passion for childcare.
