About Candace

Hi, I'm Candace a mom to two energetic, toddler boys, and looking to welcome one or two more children into our daily adventures. I have a masters degree and my undergraduate degree is in family studies, so while our days are laid-back and fun, they are rooted in a deep value for play, emotional growth, and learning. I'm not running a big busy daycare. I'm offering more of a "home away from home". Since I'm already in "mom mode" with my own boys, your child will have built-in playmates in a nurturing, consistent environment. A typical day with us can include lots of backyard, play, sensory activities, kitchen table activities, storytime, and just being happy kids. My home is fully childproof and smoke-free. I am CPR/first aid certified. I love the idea of helping another family find a small scale alternative to larger centers. If this sounds like something that you're looking for, I'd love to chat!
