Hi! My name is Caitlin, and I bring over 15 years of paid childcare experience. As the oldest of five, caregiving has always come naturally to me. Most recently, I relocated from Virginia, where I was the primary babysitter for a wonderful family for over eight years, caring for their two young children from infancy through school age. Prior to that, I was a head teacher in both the infant and toddler rooms at a daycare center in upstate New York while pursuing my college degree. Currently, I work full time as a Director of Talent Acquisition at a staffing agency, but I'm looking to connect with local families for evening or weekend babysitting opportunities. I bring fun, patience and a nurturing approach to every family I work with, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your little ones. Caity has been a caregiver for my daughter (8yo) and son (3yo), since birth. She started taking care of my daughter, when she was 3 months old, and just recently moved out of the VA area. Her departure was extremely difficult for our family, as Caity, is considered family, in our household. My husband and I were asked to be part of a wedding in India, when my son was only 8 months old. The only way to make it work was to leave both of our children with her, during the event. Caity took them to and from school, up-kept our home, and made many memories. A year later, we had to fly overseas for work and we didn’t want to do it without our children. Knowing we would be working, we asked Caity to travel with us and assist with the children, as a full-time Nanny. Her love, attention to detail, nurturing nature, structure, and joyfulness, she brings to caregiving, is hard to match. Her flexibility and availability, is unmatchable. Caity’s new endeavors took her across the country and we keep in touch, regularly. I trust Caity with my children’s safety and well-being and I recommend her to anyone seeking childcare. She is a blessing to anyone who crosses her path and her caregiving is exceptional.
