About Caila

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With eight years of experience supporting elementary and middle school students in math, science, and study skills, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I create an engaging, patient environment by adapting my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples--to match your specific learning style. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to ensure we are always aligned on goals and progress. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am comfortable working in your home, at the library, or in a local coffee shop. Since I have experience with challenging students, I would love to help you reach your academic goals and discover a genuine joy in learning.
