About Sophia

I'd describe my personality as kind, extroverted, and passionate. I like tutoring because it helps students accomplish goals they never thought they could and shows them how much they are capable of. Sometimes students need a little help to see that they can achieve whatever goal they want to. I'm looking for a job that offers consistent hours and lets me tutor students in a way that best fits them. I started tutoring when I was 16 and have taught Spanish and English as a Second Language for 5 years. I like to sew, read, listen to music, and study other languages in my spare time. One thing you should know about me is that I am very passionate about helping students learn other languages. I am also a big advocate for teaching in a style that is specific to each student. My skills include a vast knowledge of language learning methods, knowledge of native Spanish speakers, and I specialize in Latin and Germanic-based foreign languages.
