About Bunny

Hi, I'm Bunny an MFA graduate in creative writing from UC San Diego who believes every student has a story worth telling and that creative expression is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves! My goal isn't just to help students become better writers it's to help them think more clearly express themselves more authentically, and enjoy the creative process. I'm looking to work with students who are excited to learn the craft of writing--from the fundamentals of storytelling and grammar to developing their own unique voice. I have been teaching writing in schools for the last nine years. One thing you should know about me is that I believe every young person deserves to feel safe, respected and encouraged to be themselves. I especially enjoy supporting LGBTQ+ youth, and students who may feel like they don't quite fit in. In my spare time, I like to play with my French bulldog, write, be outside, go on the swing-set, cook, listen to music, and laugh.
