About Joseph

Hi, I'm Joseph, a Los Angeles-based tutor with over a decade of experience helping elementary-age students build confidence in reading, writing, and math. I started my career as a classroom teacher and was recognized as Teacher of the Year before transitioning to one-on-one tutoring. I specialize in working with children who learn differently, including kids with ADHD, autism, and other learning differences. My approach is simple: meet each child where they are, build sessions around what engages them, and use structured routines and hands-on activities to make learning feel achievable. What families tell me most is that their child actually looks forward to our sessions. When a kid starts believing in themselves, everything else follows.
