I began my work with special needs children in high school, where over the course of a year I worked with students from a neighboring school. I taught teenagers with down syndrome, ADHD, Muscular Dystrophy, and processing disorders. We all worked together on a year long project, putting a musical show together for their friends and families in the park. Since then I have cared for children in New York, ages 10-19 with those same handicaps, as well as Cerebral Palsy. I've cared for children at home and also traveled with them to music therapy, and other various classes after school. I am an Eagle Scout and very trustworthy.
